The Xiled Ones Handbook

Welcome To The Xiled Ones

Founded by Mr XGN and XGN HELL5FURY 7 on January 1st 2019.
On that day several years ago leaders set the singular goal to enhance the online gaming environment, without regards to skill, race, gender or personal beliefs. Our goal is to become a hub for all types of players. Whether they are competitive or casual, The Xiled Ones is a place for gamers to call home, while allowing members to express their individual talents and passions for video games.

Purpose of Handbook

This book is an abbreviated encapsulation of TXO’s general membership policies, practices, and benefits. The handbook is for information purposes only. This handbook does not and is not intended to address every possible membership situation. It is important that you read, understand, and follow the provisions in the handbook. As TXO continues to grow, we hope that these principles will serve each new person joining our ranks. If you are new to TXO, welcome. Although the goals in this book are important, it’s really your ideas, talent, and energy that will keep TXO shining in the years ahead.

Mission Statement: TXO is constantly striving to enhance the online gaming environment without regards to skill, race, gender or personal beliefs. Our goal, for over the past eight years, has been to become a hub for all types of players. Whether they are competitive or casual gamers, The Xiled Ones is a place to call home while allowing members to express their individual talents and passions for video games.

Kaizen is a Japanese word meaning Consistent, and Never-Ending improvement. This is the TXO mantra. TXO Will be the best gaming community, and will always strive to improve. Thanks for being here. Let’s make great things.

Your First Day

Ah, so you’ve completed the Recruitment / Training Process, and you’re finally an official member of The Xiled Ones. Congratulations, and welcome!
This is a unique community with and incredibly different way of doing things compared to other organization in our genre. This is what makes TXO the greatest multi-platform gaming community today. However, it can take some getting used to. This handbook was created by people who’ve been where you are now, and desire to make your first few weeks here as easy as possible.

TXO Facts That Matter

TXO is self-funded. Since the begining we have always paid for things ourselves. The majority of the amazing tools this community utilizes was funded by the members and leadership within. Our organization generates commision from Sponsors based on sales using our promo-codes. We also use advertisement on our website that generates a small amount of money each day. Using practices like this along with donations and merchandise sales is what makes all this possible. Leadership of TXO invest a lot of time, money and energy to make this all possible.

TXO is not your normal gaming organization. Since our existence we have strived to be more. As most gaming organizations tend to utilize a “Team” structure with a small staff and a select base of members. Our organization utilizes a “Community” structure with a extensive staff and massive base of members. We are a gaming community.

TXO is not for everyone. Not all players will enjoy what we have to offer here. Our primary goal is and always will be the creation of friendships and social experiences. Of course we love to win, but that is not the primary goal here. This is a family enviroment, there will be good days and bad days.

TXO has haters. Surprisingly one of the toughest parts of success is finding peers happy for you. But as they say, “Anyone can get pity. Jealousy you have to earn.” We’re what is considered a “progressive community” which means we do not practice hostile activities such as Trash Talk, Harrassment or Cyber Crimes. Not all groups are like us, some see your success and desire to cause harm. These are what we call “The Blacklisted”. We block all contact with these people for the protection on ourselves and members.

Rank Up! or don’t…

Hierarchy is great for maintaining predictability and repeatability. It simplifies planning and makes it easier to control a large group of people from the top down, whichs why military organizations rely on it so heavily. However, here we do not utilize our Rank Structure for the purpose of “Control” we do so to guide one another to success and offer more to the members. Our community has spent the better part of the last decade going out of its way to recruit the most unique individuals gaming today and even further to promote the most intelligent, innovative, talented people on Earth. We want innovators, and that means maintaining an environment where they’ll flourish. This community is ours to steer—toward opportunities and away from risks. Together we have the power to ensure our organization survives. If you’re thinking to yourself, “Wow, that sounds like a lot of responsibility,” you’re right. That’s why accepting promotions is the single most important thing you will ever do at TXO. Any time you accept a position, you need to ask yourself not only if you’re talented or collaborative but also if you’re capable of literally determing the gaming experience of others. No one will ever force you to accept a position, that is soley your choice.

Where Will You Take Us?

The Xiled Ones will be a different community a few years from now because you are going to change it for the better. We can’t wait to see where you take us. The experiences that you decide to create for future members are the things that define us. Whether it’s a new squad, expansion to a new game, new policy that helps players, a new form of technology that allows us to clone high performing members.. or (more likely) something nobody’s thought of yet—we can’t wait to see what kind of future you choose to build at TXO!

1.) All The Xiled Ones members are expected to read and follow the TXO Code of Conduct, TXO Policies, Xbox Live terms of service, and must uphold the Code of Conduct at all times.

2.) Members must respect other gamers, this includes members and nonmembers. TXO does not condone violations of the (CoC) of any kind. This includes (but is not limited to), discrimination based on race, age, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or any other personal interest, or investment. All members are entitled to a professional level of fairness. You may not be intimidated “in any way”. This is strictly enforced.

3.) Never leave a fellow TXO member behind. Do not leave a game with fellow members because you are losing or not playing well. This is considered “leaving a man behind” and includes, meetings, game nights, tournaments, and etc.

4.) Poaching is not permitted. The act of coaxing a member from another clan or community, including a fellow member of TXO, for recruitment purposes is strictly prohibited. NOTE: offerings and/or promises for membership participation is considered (Profit to stay) and is also strictly prohibited. Additionally, recruits may not be recruited into TXO within 30 days of previous membership of any gamer community, or clan including TXO.

5.) TXO members take pride in their membership, and are encouraged, (but not required) to change their gamertag/name to reflect TXO. It is ONLY a requirement to place TXO in your gamertag in order rank up past Master Sergeant, and it must always be in caps. If you delete your profile or bio this is the same as quitting. If this occurs, you have 24 hours to replace this in order to come back as if nothing happened. If after 24 hours you want to come back to TXO, you must start over as a new member.

6.) Your Xbox Live profile settings, including MOTTO, NAME, LOCATION, and BIO, must be visible at all times so other members of TXO can authenticate you as an actual member. All members must know the security question(s), and their answers within 30 days of joining TXO.

7.)  The minimum age requirement to join TXO is 12 years of age. (Adult Squads being 15+ years of age and Junior Squads being 12+ years of age.).

8.) All TXO members are entitled to the “OPEN DOOR POLICY”. The “Open Door Policy” in its essence, is an opportunity to go to a higher-ranking member with a problem which can’t be resolved within their immediate chain of command. Members are expected to follow the chain of command, and report to leadership directly above their rank at all times. The Open Door Policy is not an invitation to join staff meetings, nor an invitation to join, or be in a party of higher ranking members without permission. For example; While a Senior Director may “decide” to be in a party with Corporals, any problems said Corporals may have on a squad level, must first go up his chain of command. Additionally if while in a party, if said Corporal brings up any problems within his/her squad with Division staff or above, they should be asked to leave the party and report to their General.

9.) All TXO leaders are expected to display proper conduct, leadership skills, and a high level of professionalism at all times. No rank above Master Sergeant may be attained without passing TXO’s test for the rank. Accepting a leadership position is a choice, and more importantly a privilege, with the understanding that you may be asked to step down at any time. If you cannot handle the responsibility of the job, rank, or title, please don’t accept the position.

10.) All TXO members must represent TXO in a positive and respectful manner regardless of whether they are playing games, using the Xbox Party Chat/Personal Chat system, or in any other online/offline environment. This includes but is not limited to, Hacking or “illegal console modding” of any kind.

11.) TXO members are not permitted to be a part of any other clan, community clubs, or gaming organization while in TXO. A gamer with another Clan tag in his/her gamer tag/name cannot be recruited into TXO without removal of it first. Nobody may be recruited with a gamerscore of under 1000.

12.) If you are invited to a party or contacted by a higher-ranking member, you need to respond in a timely manner, as the subject matter may be urgent. If you are asked to leave a party by a senior member, you must do so immediately.

13.) Any member who knowingly damages or destroys, whether unintentional or not, any material or nonmaterial assets belonging to TXO, offender(s) may be prosecuted civilly or criminally to the fullest extent of the law. This may be including reimbursement of any or all fees legal or otherwise.

14.) Members should attend a minimum of 2 meetings, and 2 squad game night/workshops/sit-ins, or activity night per month. Doing this will keep the community active. If the member cannot attend, please inform your squad leaders. All members of TXO must remain active on the the TXO website, with a minimum of 10 post per month. Officers may request more participation, but members are not “required” to do more than their rank calls for.

15.) All illegal activities are strictly prohibited.

This is done on a weekly basis so if your posts are being “deleted” they aren’t, they are simply being moved so the forums are kept clean as possible.

  • RES members will be placed in the “Timeout” server on Discord.

Should the member fail to comply with the terms of the RES, they will be subject to the Membership Revoke policy.

Membership Revoked

A membership revoke is used when a member(s) has severely (or continuously) broken the CoC, such to the extent that they must be removed from the community immediately. However, since the member (or members) in question may not represent an immediate or severe threat to the community, Blacklisting will not be warranted. The removal of a member from the community for breaking the Code of Conduct (CoC) in such a severe fashion that the senior leadership has deemed them entirely unfit for the community. Once a member has had their membership revoked, they may apply through the TXO Court System for a membership appeal after thirty (30) days.

Blacklisting

Blacklisting is an action reserved for the most severe, and egregious of behaviors/threats against the TXO community (in part, whole, or digitally), or any of its individual members or collectively.

Blacklisting may only be implemented by an Owner(s), COO, CoS, CPO and or the CDO as recommended by the Senior Director(s). Members are strictly prohibited from any contact, real or otherwise, with any Blacklisted individuals, communities, groups, or clans. Including on a members’ “friends” list. The following list includes, but is not limited to, actionable offenses which may result in a member, or members being Blacklisted:

  • Poaching
  • Harassment (including sexual)
  • Threats of violence (credible)
  • Information Technology Sabotage
  • Stalking
  • Felonious Activity

DIVISION SPLIT POLICY

For a Division split to occur, the division must have the following:

  • Must be flagship for at least one week, there are exceptions.
  • A minimum of 500 members.
  • A full complement of Division staff.
  • A minimum of 6 squads.
  • At least 90% of the division must be verified to be in the TXO Club.
  • The existing Division Leader must compile and submit a complete list, or roster, of which staff will transfer to the new division.
  • The division must know what squads will stay in the division and which ones will go to the new division.

Once these requirements are met, the Division Leader will then await approval by the Division’s Director and the  COO. The COO will then appoint a Senior Director and provide full access to the Divisions’ tags/CMS to audit and verify the division’s membership. Upon completion of the audit and verification, the existing Division will be deemed “Flagship” and a new Division Tag will be created and assigned. As a result, the split may commence immediately.

  • The Division Leader, (of the existing Division) may be promoted to Director (space providing), the Co-Division Leader may then be promoted to Division Leader (of the existing Division) or may choose to transfer to the new Division as Division Leader, whereas the Founder would then be promoted to Division Leader of the existing Division.
  • Should the Division Leader of the existing division not be promoted to Director, the Co-Division Leader would then take over the new Division as its Division Leader and the Founder to Co-Division Leader.

Discord Participation Policy

All members of The Xiled Ones will be required to have access, in some part, to the Discord App for the sake of proper communication within and without the Division. This is accessible through any smart phone, PC, laptop, or even via Microsoft Edge (on the XBox One) or other browsers (if only to the extent of viewing).

Any member of TXO wishing to have or create their own server.
– Has to get permission from their Division Leader, the Divleader will notify their Director which will then take the request to the CCM (TXO BlueDream 7)
– The CCM will create the requested server and setup the security permissions. following that, they will continue to monitor the server for the safety of it members

EQUAL GAMING OPPORTUNITY POLICY

An important part of TXO is to provide equal gaming opportunities to all gamers. Discrimination against anyone, including but not limited to: game (play/skill), race, age, gender bias, sexual orientation, gender orientation, religious affiliation, national origin, disability, political affiliation, TXO gamer tag, any other personal interest, or investment is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. TXO strives to provide a community environment which is fair and equal to all its members.

FLAGSHIP

When a division gets to 500 members, a division leader can start working towards splitting his/her division. To split a division, they must receive flagship first, by asking a director.

The director will approach the COO and ask if that specific division may split. They will both then evaluate all the officers within that division. If all is approved, the director must go down and start the flagship process, making sure all squads have all officers in place, and all CMS and tags are the same. They will then go through each tag and make sure all bios and uniforms of all squad members are correct otherwise they will be removed.

If the division falls under 450 members, they will lose their flagship status and have to reapply. The Division will have one week to get any removed members corrected and back on CMS, or their numbers back to 500 to receive flagship once again.

It is mandatory that:

  • At least 90% of the division must be verified to be in the TXO Club
  • Every uniform must be the same by TXO standards
  • All staff positions must be filled before splitting
  • Flagship must be obtained before splitting
  • There are some exceptions at TXO Sr Leadership’s discretion!

To receive flagship, a division must have a full division staff. All squads must have full staff, and all members’ bios, mottos, and uniforms must be correct.

GAMING VIOLENCE POLICY

TXO believes in maintaining a safe and healthy gaming experience in part by promoting an open, friendly, and supportive gaming environment for all its members. Violence and/or threats of violence have no place in our community. Violence and/or threats are never an effective solution to any problem. Members are expected to immediately report any violation(s) of this policy to their superior officer(s). Any member found threatening another member, will be subject to disciplinary action, up to, and including Rank Suspension, Membership Revocation, and/or Blacklisting from TXO!

HARASSMENT/ INTIMIDATION POLICY

TXO will not tolerate harassment or intimidation of our members in any situation. Harassment is governed by state laws, which vary from state to state, but is usually defined as a course of conduct which annoys, threatens, intimidates, alarms, or puts a person in fear of their safety. Harassment is unwanted, unwelcome, and uninvited behavior that demeans, threatens, or offends the individual. Intimidation includes, but is not limited to, knowingly putting another person (or persons) in fear of harm to one’s physical, mental, emotional, or personal loss. Additionally, intimidating an TXO member such that it holds their membership, rank, or title hostage in lieu of inappropriate or non governed performance is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Example: threatening or intimidation for more than the minimum rank or membership requirements is strictly prohibited. Violations to this policy may result in severe disciplinary action(s), including but not limited to, Blacklisting of your membership. Additionally, you may even face criminal prosecution to the fullest extent of the law, should the situation provide for it.

INACTIVITY POLICY

We encourage all TXO members to remain active within the community in order to keep their memberships active. Please be sure to log in and take part in TXO activities and meetings at least twice a month.

Inactive members may be subject to removal for consecutive inactivity during any two-week (14 days) period for the following:

  • No member should be on the CMS/squad tag if their gamer tag has not been active for 15 days.
  • Non-attendance of Squad activities.
  • Failure to communicate to your Squad/Division staff, or being offline.
  • Failure to attend meetings. NOTE: Members whom are removed for inactivity but wish to return, must be re-recruited and retrained (as if they were a first-time member). And be out of TXO or any clan for 30 days.
  • Any member in violation of this policy must submit a “Membership Reinstate” appeal in the TXO Court system section in the TXO forums. Anyone who fails to do so and is found in a Division/Squad will be automatically membership revoked!

IMPERSONATION POLICY

TXO strictly prohibits any member to impersonate or misrepresent themselves in any way. This includes, but is not limited to, impersonation or misrepresentation of your uniform, your rank, department affiliation, activity completions (including testing/training), and/or military status for purpose of manipulation or abuse rules, policies, or special consideration(s) not deserved to you. TXO conveys huge respect for all those who sacrifice themselves in defense of their countries. Impersonation of a military affiliation is prohibited, and those caught violating this policy may face severe disciplinary action(s), including but not limited to, permanent revocation of your membership.

LEAVE OF ABSENCE POLICY

(L.O.A.) There are three (3) types of “L.O.A.”; Long-Term L.O.A., Short-Term L.O.A., and Military L.O.A.
Short-Term L.O.A.: A member may request a “Short-Term” leave of absence from their TXO membership, at any time without denial. The member may receive an L.O.A., and will then be subsequently relieved of any and all responsibilities during their requested absence period. If the member is an officer, an equal (or superior) officer will be assigned to cover their responsibilities while on L.O.A. The period which qualifies as Short-Term L.O.A., is: 1 to 15 days. Upon returning from “Short-Term” L.O.A. within the allotted timeframe, the member is restored to active status and returned to their previous position before on L.O.A.

Should the member not return to their “squad” in that time frame, the member will automatically be upgraded to “Long-Term L.O.A.” status for the duration of the “Long-term” time limit (75 days more). The member will then be removed from their Squad and Division tag to allow for TXO related progress to occur. The member’s position may then be made available for another member to be promoted into. Upon returning late, the TRANSFER POLICY will apply.

Long-term L.O.A.:
A member may receive a “Long-term” leave of absence from their TXO membership at any time. The member will then be subsequently relieved of any and all responsibilities during their absence. The period for which qualifies as “Long-term” L.O.A., is: 1 to 90 days. A member on “Long-term” L.O.A. must be removed from their Squad and Division tag. Should the member not return to their “post” in that time frame, the member will automatically be removed from the CMS and subject to the ACTIVITY / INACTIVITY POLICY.

Military L.O.A.: A member may receive a “Military” leave of absence from their TXO membership at any time. The member will be subsequently relieved of any and all responsibilities during their absence. Military L.O.A. is: 1 to 365 days. Should the member not return to their “squad” in that time-frame, the member will automatically be removed from TXO, and subject to the REJOINING POLICY. This is necessary due to the continual growth and evolution of TXO’s Membership and Policies, which after 365 days (or more) absent from, will have changed substantially. Any member found to have falsified their military status, or utilizing “Stolen Valor” for the purposes of a Military L.O.A., may be subject to disciplinary action(s), including but not limited to, Blacklisting of your membership.

Procedure for LOA:
  • Member must notify a superior officer for L.O.A. status.
  • Member must remove rank and replace with the initials “L.O.A.” in their location.
  • Member must place the dates of their L.O.A. interval in their Bio.
  • Example:” LOA 7/7/2010 to 7/7/2011”
  • Must friend/follow “TXO LoA TAG” until they return.
  • Must send message to “TXO LoA Tag” with your intended dates of departure and return.
  • Example: “LOA 7/7/2010 to 7/27/2010”
  • Must be removed from the squad tag and CMS.
  • Upon returning, the member UN-FOLLOWS the TXO LoA Tag, removes LOA (and dates) from their Bio, and must then report to their superior officer for active duty assignments, and/or CMS and Tag updating.
  • Any member not following the TXO LoA Tag is to be considered NOT ON LOA, and subject to full membership policies. LOA provides for needed time away for personal reasons. Should a member be found to be actively playing on their console (game progression), they may be considered “returned from LOA” and subject to active duty policies. L.O.A. is a consideration to its membership, which TXO recognizes for needed time away from their consoles (for personal or real life demands), NOT TXO, or your responsibilities to your rank. If a member is found to be using the LOA process to shelter themselves from their responsibilities (shirking), they may face disciplinary action(s), including but not limited to, Membership Revoked.
  • If a member is on Leave of Absence (LOA) they will be unaware they have Blacklisted Groups or Players on their list and will NOT be Blacklisted and will have 24 hours to Remove & Block once they return to their Console, Discord and other Platforms.

Level 5 Blacklisted Policy

As of December 22nd 2017 the The Xiled Ones will abide by the following protocol when dealing with groups and players Level 5 Blacklisted.

  • Any member found with a level 5 Blacklisted Clan or Player on their Friends list can/will be Blacklisted by Senior Leadership NO Questions asked.
  • If a current member of TXO has a friend that has joined a Level 5 Blacklisted group they will be issued a 24 hour warning to Block Communications and Cut ALL contact with the now Blacklisted Member.
  • If a member is on Leave of Absence (LOA) they will be unaware they have Blacklisted Groups or Players on their list and will NOT be Blacklisted and will have 24 hours to Remove & Block once they return to their Console, Discord and other Platforms.
  • Any member identified as “adding” or “contacting” ANY Blacklisted Group or Player after they have been blacklisted will face the same or similar protocol.
  • Senior Leadership reserves the right to handle all Blacklist[s] how they feel fit as a team.

NOTE: Just because this policy is based on LEVEL 5 Top Security Threats does NOT mean that all other Blacklists are less dangerous or are to not be removed, blocked or avoided. This is simply to create knowledge TXO has ZERO TOLERANCE for any LEVEL 5 BLACKLISTED offenders inorder to protect our community.

REMINDER: // Members of the The Xiled Ones must Remove, Block and Avoid ALL Blacklisted Groups and Players regardless of the level.

Member Reinstate Policy

Any member who decides to leave the community for more than 24 hours and decides to leave on their own accord (on good terms) must go through the TXO Court system for membership reinstatement.

Any member found to be a “repeat” offender of this policy could be subject to possible demotion, Squad or Division level DNH and or be automatically re-directed to the court system to appeal.

At that point their case will be reviewed by the court judges and a ruling will be final. All court judges have the right to place special circumstances on a member return I.e returning rank or members being placed on rank lock, or under a “One Strike”. At any point in this process the Head Court Judge may at any point add or remove any stipulations in regards to said members return. The CCO, CoS, and the CPO have the right to determine what rank is suitable for members to return at in which case this ruling will be final.

*Do not contact the judges prior, during, or after your case. If you contact any judges about your ruling, or even before it, you will have to wait 30 days to re-apply again!

OPEN DOOR POLICY

In TXO we want to ensure that members of all ranks are given a path to speak to leadership. This includes, but is not limited to, topics about harassment, discrimination, and general clan questions or concerns. It is preferred that you use the Chain of Command and speak directly to the leaders placed over you. However, if after talking to your leadership you feel the need for additional discussion, you are welcomed to talk with your higher leadership by sending a private message to any or all members of the Board of Directors in the human resources section of the forums “Open Door” topic. The open door policy is not an invitation to circumvent the Chain of Command. You, as a member of TXO, must always take responsibility that circumventing the Chain of Command may result in disciplinary action. The relationship between you and your leaders will be one of the most important relationships you will have in TXO.

RELATIONSHIP POLICY SUBJECT OF: “CONFLICT OF INTEREST”

TXO is a family oriented community. Being a community, we understand that people will pair up. If two members do pair up, TXO asks they please take responsibility and follow the rules outlined, this goes for marriages or “real-life” relationships of any sort. Taking responsibility for your relationship will be asked if your relationship gets in the way of your TXO duties, the duties of others, the running of the squad or division, or the wellbeing of any member in TXO. Disciplinary action can be up to, but not limited to, a Membership Revoke. This does qualify for real-life relationships if both parties are both in TXO. This policy does not permit any member over the age of 18 to be in any form of relationship with a member under the age of 18. Violation of this subject of the policy will result in an immediate Membership Revoke of both parties, and possible Blacklisting. TXO does not allow personal “real life” relationships within the same Squad/Division due to the potential perception of a conflict of interest.
This is to prevent the idea of favoritism “or non-favoritism”.

  • If they are both below a Master Sergeant rank, they may remain in the same squad, providing it is not disruptive to the squad.
  • If one member is above a Master Sergeant rank, the other must be transferred out of the squad. If they are both above a Master Sergeant rank, the lower ranking officer is to be transferred to another squad.
  • If one member is in the division staff and one is in the squad, then the two members will be separated by division.
  • If two members are in a relationship, past or present, the one member with the lower rank must be transferred to another squad or division.
  • An officer cannot be over someone whom he/she is in a relationship with, past or present. If you are an officer in a squad which contains another member in which you are having a relationship, that member must transfer out of that squad.
  • A division officer cannot be over someone whom he/she is in a relationship with, past or present. If you are an officer in division staff which contains another member in which you are having a relationship with, that member must transfer out of that division.
  • Adults TXO members, over the age of 18, may not have, pursue, or engage in, a unlawful personal ‘pseudosexual” relationship with another member under the age of 18 while in The Xiled Ones.
  • Directors, Senior Directors, and Board of Directors are not allowed to have a personal ‘pseudo-sexual” relationship(s) with any member in the TXO community, unless the COO approves. Familial relationships, may be permitted providing that there is no oversight relationship in their rank. Example: Not in the same Division, Department, or any position of influence over the other.
  • Members who are in a personal ‘pseudo-sexual” relationship whom are in TXO, cannot be involved in each other’s promotions or disciplinary actions.

Relationships relating to this policy include; Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Husband, Wife, Father, Mother, Son, and Daughter. All familial and/or LGBT relationships apply. This also includes any other alternative relationship(s) not stated here. The President of TXO, the COO,CoS,and the CPO have the right to review each situation, and may overrule this policy if deemed necessary. This policy is subject to be modified by senior leadership as a whole on a case to case basis.

RANKING POLICY

No rank is EVER guaranteed. Even if a Squad (or Division) splits, no rank (or title) is guaranteed. Members may not hold a rank (or title) without first successfully completing the TXO test and/or training for that position. Acting ranks (ie: “Acting General”), are to be secured by a superior rank, not a subordinate. For this example, a CoFo would be asked to act as Squad General until such time a General could be promoted from the ranks, or transferred into the Squad from another existing one. Again, successful completion of the appropriate TXO test/training must occur first. Squad level promotions may ONLY be affected by the Squads’ General (or Acting General), unless the situation requires a Colonel to be promoted to General, which will then be administered by the Founder of that Squad. Should there be a need to fill a Division Staff position, the Division Leader is responsible to promote a qualified member to that position. If the vacancy is the Division Leader position, the responsibility falls on the Director to submit a qualified member to the Board of Directors for voting. Additionally, anyone seeking a Division Leader or Co-Division Leader position, must first submit an application to TXO for approval. All ranks above Co-Division Leader are voted in by the Board of Directors.

To obtain the ranks of COL/GEN specific LDP slide-shows and testing is “MANDATORY”. Failure to do so will result in an “AUTOMATIC” demotion as well as possible disciplinary actions to any and all division staff members involved in said promotions!

REAL LIFE POLICY

Real life comes first, but not to the detriment of TXO. TXO recognizes that members have a real life outside of TXO, and members are expected to handle their personal life first. However, the responsibilities you voluntarily accepted are still expected to be upheld. If you cannot do your job, then do not accept, or please surrender the responsibility. All jobs within TXO will require a certain amount of sacrifice of your time away from your gaming and/or personal life. Complaints of inadequate game time, or personal time, or threats of quitting will qualify for an immediate demotion of rank, and/or may be interpreted as your resignation from TXO, and handled accordingly.

REJOINING POLICY

After being Membership Revoked or Blacklisted,or ANY involvement in a previous BLACKLISTED or non blacklisted community must log onto the forums, unless you were banned from the forums for your offense, and navigate to the Court System area thread. If necessary, you may ask someone whose membership is still in a good standing status with TXO, to go to the forums and do it for you. Go to the Court area access, and fill out the appeal form correctly. Wait patiently for all judges and witnesses to post. Answer any and all questions directed to you. Accept the subsequent decision as final.

*Do not contact the judges prior, during, or after your case. If you contact any judges about your ruling, or even before it, you will have to wait 30 days to re-apply again!

RULE OF THREE POLICY:

Members are restricted from participating in more than 3 departments at any given time. This is to ensure they are able to commit fully to those departments rather than only give a little to several.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT POLICY:

(S)exual (H) arassment (A) ccepted (R)eponse (P)revention S.H.A.R.P.

Any suggestions made to any member that sexual favors will affect any term or condition of membership with TXO will not be tolerated. It is the policy of TXO that any harassment, including acts which create a hostile gaming environment, or any other discriminatory act(s) directed against our members, will result in swift and severe discipline, up to and including, blacklisting. TXO will not tolerate any such harassment of our members by anyone. For purposes of this policy, sexual harassment is defined as; Any type of sexually oriented conduct, whether intentional or not, which is unwelcome, and has the purpose,or effect, of creating a gaming environment which is hostile, offensive, or coercive. The following are examples of conduct that, depending upon the circumstances, may constitute sexual harassment. Sexual harassment may include anything from calling a person a derogatory name to making advances of a sexual nature. Other forms of Sexual Harassment include;

  • Verbal abuse of a sexual nature, sexually degrading, or vulgar words to describe an individual.
  • The display of sexually suggestive objects, pictures, posters or cartoons.
  • Unwelcome comments about an individual’s body.
  • Asking questions about a person’s sexual preferences, sexual jokes, language, nicknames, advances, or propositions.
  • Written or oral conduct.
  • If sexual harassment accusation has been made, both members will be R.S for the duration the investigation.

Members must bring any violation of this policy to the immediate attention of their leaders so they can take it up to a Senior Director. This policy is one of the three exceptions to breaking the Chain of Command.

SLANDER/ DEFAMATION/ LIBEL OF CHARACTER POLICY

Slander is the oral communication of false statements that are harmful to a person’s reputation. Defamation, is the communication of a false statement, or claim, which harms the reputation of an individual person or group. Libel is defined as defamation by written or printed words, pictures, or in any form other than by spoken words or gestures. If the statements are proven to be true, it is a complete defense to a charge of slander. Oral opinions that don’t contain statements of fact don’t constitute slander. Slander is an act of communication that causes someone to be shamed, ridiculed, held in contempt, and lowered in the estimation of the community.
The basic elements of a claim of slander include;

  • A defamatory statement;
  • Published to third parties;
  • In whereas the speaker or publisher knew, or should have known that statement(s) was false;

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICIES

TXO is a gaming community not a social media community. We handle official business on the console. However, we do support the gamer app Discord for all chats outside of the console/forums as well as other social media platforms including but not excluding kik, Facebook, Twitter, Discord etc. All members will still be subjected to follow all TXO policies and code of conduct on any account linked with the TXO brand. (for example any private account on any social media is private any account with TXO or link to TXO in the name or day-to-day activity is considered your TXO account) Any chat that holds more than 10 members with TXO accounts will be considered an unofficial TXO chat and shut down immediately as we have provided sanction Discord chats for every member. Any breach of this policy will have consequences.

SQUAD SPLIT POLICY

In order for a squad split to occur, the squad must have the following: A minimum of 80 members, a General, a Colonel, a Major, 4 Captains, and 4 Lieutenants. When a squad is ready to split, the General may request the Division Leader’s permission to split. If approved, the Division Leader will assign a Founder to go through the squad tag/CMS to audit, and verify the list for accuracy, and assess the online and active status of the squad membership. Once the split is approved by the Division Leader, all uniforms of the transferred squad members must be correctly updated. The following scenarios are leadership allocation examples:

  • The General of the existing squad, may be promoted to Co-Founder, space providing. the Colonel may then be promoted to General of the existing squad, or may choose to transfer to the new squad as General, in which the Major would then be promoted to General of the existing squad.
  • If General of the existing squad remains, and does not rank up to Co-Founder, the Colonel would then take over the new squad. The Major would then be promoted to Colonel, and has the choice to either stay in the old squad, or move to the new squad.
  • The squad may split as described, into a preexisting failing squad.
  • Squads may not split outside their respective Division.

  • The General of the squad splitting must compile and submit a complete list of which members and staff will transfer to the new squad for Division staff to approve.

SQUAD PROMOTING POLICY

A member may not be promoted past the rank of Master Sergeant, without a gamer tag name change to include “TXO”, which must be in CAPS. A member may not hold the rank of Master Sergeant or higher, until they have taken the TXO Master Sergeant test, and have been properly, and fully, trained with the current TXO information, and must have been in the community at their current rank for at least two weeks. Additionally, they must have met the minimum requirement(s) for that ranks’ promotion in order to qualify for it. Furthermore, a member may not be promoted to any rank above Staff Sergeant, without first being fully trained in the specific policies and training which may be necessary for that particular rank. If any requirement(s), for their rank is discovered to be “not met”, the member will be demoted until such time that they are. The leader(s) who promoted said member without completing said requirements, will also be subject to rank suspension and/or demotion. Only the General of the Squad may promote. All officers must have taken and passed the TXO test to be promoted. A member can not be appointed, or promoted to a rank without passing that ranks test.

SECURITY RISK POLICY

If at any time the Division Leader suspects, or has credible information that supports a credible threat that a Squad,Division, or Website is going to become a victim of a breach of security by another clan, community or individual(s) from outside, or from within TXO, the Division Leader may elect to lock down the Squad and Division tags. Additionally, the Division Leader may send out a, “Please Watch Out for”, alert to the Squad and Division to notify the membership of the potential pending risk.

SUICIDE POLICY

TXO Suicide Policy 2.0 – 2018

The Board of Directors of The Xiled Ones, LLC. take Suicide & Self Harm very seriously. In recognition of the need to protect the health, safety and welfare of it’s members, to promote healthy development, to safeguard against the threat or attempt of suicide among membership, and to address barriers to gaming & learning, hereby adopts this policy. TRAINING POLICY

The training process is a multi-step process that can be completed at different times.

  • No one is to be recruited with another community in their gamertag excluding Professional Organizations the potential new member is a “fan” of i.e: FaZe, OpTic, nV, MLG
Official TXO Training Guide (Jan, 2019)

  • Parties and Status- So that leadership can properly and efficiently contact you as a member, we ask that all members keep their parties open so that they can join if needed. Parties should only be locked down when discussing TXO business or a Senior Director or higher is in the party and requests the party to be placed on Invite Only. We also ask that you do NOT kick/remove members from parties. If you should have an issue with another member or non-member, please leave the party and start another. If the situation persists, you may be permitted to lock your party. A member should always keep their status set to online.NOTE: Due to open foreign / domestic relations with other groups and individuals leadership of TXO must often keep Party Chats closed in order to protect the members of TXO within them.

  • Members may only be permitted to set their status as ‘Do Not Disturb’ under 3 circumstances: If they are not currently in front of/active at their console, are currently on an LOA Status, or if permitted by Divisional Staff. In any of these situations, they are still required to notify Senior Squad Staff and/or Division Staff. If a member is currently not active or conducting XGN business or gaming, the previous restrictions do not apply. However, if there are repeated questionable situations or abuse of these rules regarding ‘Do Not Disturb’, the member may be subject to questioning by Senior Squad Staff or Division Staff.

  • The following is now added to the recruitment process. When a new member joins TXO, before they are officially recruited, they must Follow the following Gamertag: TXO Community – This is an addition to them Following their Squad Tag and Joining the TXO Xbox Club as well as the TXO community Discord as well as their division Discords. This will make more sense in a future CMS Update which will enhance Community-wide Security.

TRANSFERRING POLICY

All members have the right to ask for a Squad, or Division transfer. All transfers must be requested by the member wishing to transfer, in person, via direct message or verbally. The proper way to request a transfer is to either have a message forwarded up the chain of command to the Division Leader, or the member may go directly to the Division Leader and place their request verbally. Transfers are typically approved and completed without issue. However, The Division Leader, or General, of the sought after Division/Squad transfer (new Division/Squad) may deny the transfer. The member will then select another potential Division/Squad for transfer, or may choose to rescind their request (staying in their current Division/Squad). The member will then be invited into a party with their existing Division Leader, or their proxy, accompanied by the Division Leader of their new Division and the transfer will commence. The current Division Leader, or General, may require the member to provide up to one(1) recruit before the transfer may be effected. Simple break down steps to a Squad/Division transfer: Notify your General (or Division Leader) of your request, verbally or in writing. Your General (or Division Leader) will aid you in pursuing the transfer by contacting the leader of the desired Squad/Division.

The Division Leader will notify the Division Leader of the requested transfer and discuss the specifics surrounding the request. The ONLY information which may be conveyed, is the member’s CURRENT status. No other information may be divulged/conveyed about the member limitation (but not limited to) the members character, history, conduct, attitude, professionalism, or any lack there of. This means the Division Leader cannot bad mouth or put down the member that is looking for the transfer. The privacy of the member must be preserved and protected at all times. TXO members are allowed (3) Division transfers only. Anymore will result in an automatic membership revoke.

No member may transfer to another division while on RS or RES until requirements are met. This also includes squad level transfers!

“ALL” Division Leaders are responsible for filling out the Division Transfer form. Failure to do will result in a “invalid” transfer!

One of the things that makes The Xiled Ones stand apart from any of the other gaming communities, is the fact that we have a very organized ranking structure. Each rank has its own requirements, duties and, responsibilities. When members are performing their duties it creates an easy flowing squad, and when all squads are on the same level, the division will be running smoothly. Now there will always be members that try to throw a stone in the smooth stream to make ripples, but as long as we do our jobs we can prevent the ripples from taking too much effect.
