January 31, 2019

Since January 1st, 2019, The Xiled Ones (TXO), has been officially opened. Since then, TXO VIRTUS XS and the rest of TXO has been building to continue success. Mr XGN, and other XGN senior leadership saw the dedication and drive TXO was continuing to bring to Xiled Syndicate. It was decided unanimously that two divisions, VII (Victory Is Imminent) and XL (Xiled Legends) would be brought over to TXO to help them even further.

Without hesitation, both division staff and divisions agreed to continue their Xiled Syndicate journey in one of the sister communities. Now TXO is doing even better, with almost 600 members TXO should be on their way of reaching a thousand this year, and everyone involved is rooting for them. With this enormous achievement, and selfless act all division staff received Hall of Fame.

XGN HELL5 7XS, spoke on the achievement of this move, and how proud he was of everyone. Sent out in the announcement chat of the official Xiled Syndicate Discord chat, he wrote:

“I am very pleased to announce the monumental moves made last night, As you all know Xiled Gaming Network created a sister Community The Xiled Ones (TXO) last Sept. Its launch in January was very exciting to those that created and built Xiled Gaming Network in the summer of 2010. It was a different time in a different place for online gamers. The same goes for TXO. It was a major component to successfully creating and launching Xiled Syndicate, a coalition of gaming organizations and personalities including Banished Gaming Legends (BGL), Killjoy Network (KN) and The Xiled Ones (TXO). Last night TXO solidified its foundation by adding two of Xiled Gaming Networks strongest Divisions, Victory is Imminent (VII) and Xiled Legends (XL). These two divisions have been pillars to the success of Xiled Gaming Network since their creations… In closing I would like to let everyone know the sacrifices these members made for ALL of us when excepting to be pioneers of the new generation of gaming communities! Thank you for this and I look foward to watching The Xiled Ones grow as well as all of Xilled Syndicate! #Xiled Movement 2019.”

Then I spoke to TXO Bree 7XS (XGN Breezy VII) about the whole move for her to tell me how she felt, and how the move came to be.

“So in one of our weekly Board Meetings TXO was brought up, basically to sum up the topic, it was mentioned that they needed help, and they needed help fast. One of our Board was going to have to go over there to help and either a few leaders or even a whole Division. A couple Board members offered to go over there during the course of the meeting. But most have too much going on within XGN and XS that it probably wouldn’t work out or be the best for them to go over there. The more the conversation went on the more I thought about it. I thought to myself “Leave XGN? Nah, not a chance”. There was no way I would leave. But the more I thought about it the idea of me going over there grew on me more. I set my personal feelings aside, I knew I wanted to help TXO and if that meant me going over there to do so then I was all for it. Later on during the meeting, I offered to go and I suggested a particular Division to go with me, Victory Is Imminent (VII). Why, might you ask? That particular Division was the Division that split off of Devils Rejects (DR) back in September. Most people that know me know that I spent most of my XGN career in DR and overseeing that Division, and also overseeing VII after the split. I know the leaders very well, and I know how they all operate. Seeing as TXO needed help, I thought VII would be the perfect Division for the job. The Division Staff of VII always strive to do better, even when they’re doing well, they find other ways to improve. They work together wonderfully and I knew that they would do the same in TXO. Now, if I’m being honest, this hasn’t been an easy transition for me. 3 years in XGN, all the accomplishments, all the bonds that I’ve made with 100’s of people isn’t something I can just let go.

But, with the help of the XGN Board of Directors and some very special friends, I have made and grew up in XGN with made it a lot easier. I kept telling myself, it’s not the end of the world, I’m not going far, I’ll still be a part of Xiled Syndicate. We go by the same structure, same policies, and have the same goals. I always want to do more for everyone, and I think this was the best move we could have made to help XGN’s sister Community grow into something and become as great as XGN, if not better; I think change is never easy for anyone. There’s always those “What ifs” that come to mind. But there’s a reason I mentioned myself and VII, and I think that reason is that we have the knowledge, tools, and ability to make something small into something bigger than we could ever imagine. XGN will always be my home and I thank everyone in that community that helped me get to where I am today, but it’s time for me to take what I’ve learned and what I know I can do and do it for TXO. The team we have set now in TXO includes some people that mentored me when I was ranking up like XGN Throttl3 and XGN TripleR75, to get to work alongside them again is amazing and I couldn’t ask for anyone better. It’ll take some time, but TXO is about to give XGN a run for their money here soon enough! Right now we’re in the process of getting VII and XL (another amazing Division that transferred over with VII) changed over to reflect TXO.

We’re setting up meetings times and getting everything organized for the future. Some goals we’re looking at are to build Staff from Board of Directors down to Squad Staff. There is a lot of potential leaders between all the Divisions and a lot of members that are willing and able to help out in any way possible. Of course we want to see Squad splits and eventually, Division splits within TXO. We want to bring in new faces that share the same passion for gaming that want someplace they can call home so they can enjoy the best possible experience. We’re looking at setting recruiting goals and working closely with Staff so they can achieve these goals. It’s all about working as one unit to become better and self-sustainable. Long-term, we want to have more representation within Departments and the LDP program. There’s a quote that I always loved and always connected with and it’s…..”Mediocrity will never do. You are capable of something better.” I think this quote sums up what we want to achieve within TXO. We want to make it better than the best, and even when you think we’re doing great and that that’s how good it’s going to get, there’s always going to be something we’re going to want to improve on or make even better than we did previously. We won’t settle for average or mediocre, we’ll always want to do more.
Greatness comes from the desire to do extraordinary things. To reach beyond the status quo and relentlessly chase your dreams. It all starts with setting and achieving goals, but when you aim higher than where you set your mark, you force yourself to get better, one victory at a time. I think there is greatness inside all of us, but first we must choose to be great.”
